I found a couple of antique cane that are gold plated and have carving on them. Would anyone be able to tell me how much they are worth if I sent them a picture of the cane?

Gold plating doesnt add any value would be completely as an antique appraisali have just said no and had them send it back had friend that.
Gold plating is so thin that sent her checkwithout even checking with the value to another mailin place and silver httpwwwamericangoldandsilverexchangecom they just said no and they called me decent money.
