Weight : x + y = 50
Cost: 400x + 150y = 250 x 50
Mutilply first equation by 150, and subtract that equation from second:
(400-150)x = 12500 – 7500
250x = 5000
x = 20
y = 30
check 400 x 20 + 150 x 30 = 250 x 50
8000 + 4500 = 12500 Yup!
