What’s the best way to clean gold-plated bathroom fixtures?

Calcium deposits are beginning to show (hard water problem). Is vinegar and water acceptable, or is there a special cleaner for gold-plated stuff?

  2. Plain old toothpaste works really well . Form it into a paste and then rinse with clear water . makes for a real pretty shine and cheap too. good Luck hope this helps.

  3. Toothpaste and a toothbrush will work great. It has to be paste, not gel.
