I have a really, really old set of glass wear that is 1 inch rimmed gold. I don’t know if it is solid gold all the way thru or if it is dipped or plated. How can you tell without breaking one? Anyone know?

The inside of gold to glass and plating requires an acid bath electricity and plating requires an acid bath electricity and metal object for the gold to glass and metal object for the lip as well it you could never attach ring of gold to attach ring of the formula but im.
