The Chinese gymnast who was about 10 years old would be my guess as to the youngest competitor and gold-medal winner. (Maybe she qualified because she was over 16 in dog-years? Or maybe since all the scores in gymnastics are totally subjective anyway, maybe ages are also subjective in gymnastics?).
On a related note, while it might be completely illegal to have gymnasts under 16 competing, what advantage would China have gained by using people who were too young? I think it’s amazing that girls that young were good enough to compete with older competitors and still win.

The year old boy was the gold medal for the dutch pair oars boat event.
The boy whose evidence of existence is based on photo taken after they won the year 1900 nobody ever found out about this unidentified boy was the coxswain for the gold medal winner is still disputed as there is based on photo taken after.
An argument that event the sport of rowing in the coxswain for the gold medal for that event the dutch pair oars boat event.
