I want to buy a blue and gold macaw. I have found some sites, but they want about $2,000 per macaw. I remember seeing some for $800 last year when I was looking, but I can’t seem to find it now. Where is a good website where I can buy a macaw for a good price and with guarantees. Thanks!

My friend isn’t very responsible and he already has a young and very hyper medium-sized black lab to take care of. He’s also in debt BIG TIME. But he wants to get a Blue and Gold Macaw. I’ve lived with birds for 13 years with my parents (our largest bird being an African Grey Parrot) and know how big of a responsibility they can be. What sort of information could you give me that will convince him not to get one besides the already obvious reasons?
