Can copper be turned into gold by ordinary chemical means?

Hi,

I know that copper can be turned to gold through nuclear reactions, but it only fomrs a radioactive/unstable isotope this way. This question is referring to alchemy being possible or not.

How can I dip in gold a natural dissect leaf for jewelry?

I saw “dissect” natural leafs for greetings cards and in some occasion for jewelry, I want to know the technique(s) to do dipping in gold and/or silver; I know that electrolysis works only on metal, It does works in organic compounds?

How to Recover Gold in metal form from Hydrochloride solution?

I do electro platting business. So i have gold plated wires which contains Nickel and Gold. By reverse current in HCL acid (cons) i remove both the metals from the copper wire. Now how can i recover only gold from the solution.

How many kilograms of water would you need to process to get 1 kilogram of gold?

One kilogram of seawater contains 5 X 10^-3 ug (part per billion) of gold. How many kilograms of seawater would you have to process to obtain 1kg of gold? Show the mathematical steps, please. Thanks!
