What does proof condition mean in relation to gold coins?

I see a gold coin on Ebay for twice what mine sold for
It was graded as proof .69 and sealed by the grading
company. What does proof mean?

I just came into possession of a gold dwight eisenhower dollar coin and can’t find it anywhere on the internet they only have silver. Does anybody know how much this supposedly non-existant coin is worth?

The earrings are small gold hoops with diamonds in them and the chain is a standard gold rope chain. I want to pawn them but only if I can get decent money.

I have looked everywhere online to find this dull matted gold chain and all I can find is bright and very shiny bulk chain. I need to know the type of metal it is, or what finish is that’s put on the base metal please. Any type is fine.

Some of my gold George Washington dollar coins are getting tarnished and I am wondering what would be the best way to get them to a spiffy shine yet again. Don’t bother suggesting coca-cola or lemon juice – I tried those already and they just ended up with this corrosive finish instead of golden. =/

Any advice would be helpful.
I do understand that cleaning coins reduces their value to collectors. However, I am using them as props and am not retaining them for their collectors’ value.
