I thouight they could still medal, but to win gold having one of your star strikers out, is incredulous. Good job girls!!! That’s one more in the bag.

Why were gold silver and bronze chosen as the colors of rewards for the Olympic medals?

Please, no answers like it goes by value and demand with gold being the most wanted because it is the shiniest metallic pigment and silver being the next wanted because it is the second shiniest and bronze bring the third and last wanted. Is there a history? What is the history? Who chose these colors and why were they chosen? Please, don’t make your story or link long and endless with a lot of words. Make it as short as you can. I’m curious.
