I was just in London and in the old part of the city by the Barbican complex there were little gold metal circles on the sidewalks. It seemed that they followed some sort of imaginary line and they were not in the same place in every square of sidewalk.

What were they?

I do electro platting business. So i have gold plated wires which contains Nickel and Gold. By reverse current in HCL acid (cons) i remove both the metals from the copper wire. Now how can i recover only gold from the solution.
